Terms of Service

By accessing or using LegAiDNC ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including administrators, editors, and viewers.

LegAiDNC provides AI-powered services including:

• APS Summary: AI-generated Attending Physician Statement summaries with human review
• Medical Record Summary: AI-powered medical record analysis and structured summaries
• Patent Intelligence: Global patent database search, analysis, and monitoring
• Marketing AI Suite: AI-assisted email campaigns, blog management, social media, and analytics

All AI outputs are subject to human review and approval before final use. We do not guarantee AI output accuracy without human validation.

To access the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Verify your email address within 2 days of account creation
• Maintain the security of your login credentials and not share them
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to violate any regulations
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as solely human-produced in regulated contexts
• Exceed API rate limits or engage in actions that degrade Platform performance

Your data: You retain full ownership of all data you upload to the Platform. We do not claim ownership of your documents, records, or content.

AI outputs: AI-generated summaries, content, and analyses created using your data are owned by you. We grant no rights to third parties over your AI outputs.

Platform IP: The Platform, including its source code, algorithms, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of LegAiDNC and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and patent laws.

No training: Your data is never used to train our AI models. Processing occurs in isolated environments exclusively for your benefit.

We treat all client data as strictly confidential. Our confidentiality obligations include:

• Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) executed with all employees and contractors
• Data isolation between client environments — no cross-contamination
• Background checks and security training for all personnel with data access
• Immediate notification and remediation in the event of any breach

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by:

• Force majeure events (natural disasters, power outages, etc.)
• Third-party service provider failures
• User-initiated actions that cause service disruption

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegAiDNC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Platform.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to LegAiDNC during the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and notify registered users via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
